Which worked, until it didn't. I was focused on logical thinking and achieving results...quickly! I am a nurse that worked with the sickest patients and then became a manager and turned around some difficult units. Mentoring others to succeed in their goals always made me excited. I felt alive with every promotion, every team success. However, it only lasted a moment as I quickly moved on to the next thing.
Those moments feeling alive, of helping others achieve success just hid my daily struggles. Anxiety was something I thought I just had to manage. The thoughts in my head ran rapid and I was in this endless cycle of control: perfectionism and workaholism to try and keep my anxiety at bay.
I didn't believe it because I felt like I tried it all. Exercise, positive psychology, acupuncture, coaching, diet, and of course every mindfulness course at work. On top of it realigned my schedule to ensure I had rest and routine 3 day weekends.
It wasn't until I was as able to link leadership tools and Kundalini Yoga did actually FEEL a difference. I felt at peace, free from the noise in my head and judgement of myself.
"For only by living in our own element can we thrive without anxiety"

After losing my job I immediately signed up for a week long Yoga Yatra in Mt. Shasta, California.
Work always prevented me from doing a trip like this before.
It is here, where heaven and earth meet that I received connection and clarity.
It took me a long time to truly determine and align my values.
Now they became my values, my commitment to you and the MANTRA for my life.
Leading from your heart and not your mind creates inner PEACE; TRUST and CONFIDENCE in yourself....and CONNECTION with others.
We are call CONNECTED in many difference ways, shapes and forms. Seeing yourself in others EMPOWERS you to serve.
This practice creates profound changes in your heart and your mind. It creates space and opportunities previously unseen- EMPOWERING you to take the next steps.
